Crew Profile

Esmeralda of the Seas has a young although experienced crew always smiling and willing to please all clients' wishes.

Captain : Julien BOULARD
French, 34 years old - 5 years on board
Julien started his carrer in the yachting Industry as bosun on a Leopard 27m, cruising all summer the south of France with the owner onboard. He enjoyed so much this first experience that he decided to make it his career. After obtaining the radio operator certificate, a chief engineer 250 , Medical Safety training and Advanced Fire fighting Certificate , in 21012 he has obtained the Captain Yacht 200 certificate followed in 2013 by the Captain Voile 200. He has alternated the winter studies to the summer season on board both private and charter yachts cruising the West and East Mediterranean. Julien joined Esmeralda of the Seas in 2018.
French mother tongue, Julien speaks also English and Spanish. Travelling, Sports and Photography are among his interests.


Chef: Rattikal RUGGERI
Thai, 46 years old
With more than 20 years of experience in both the yachting industry and restaurants, Rattikal is an exceptional chef with a lot of experience in many different types of cuisine (Thai, French, Italian, Fusion, Japanese and South-East Asian) and who can adapt to anyone taste. She has been on board of a dozen of yachts, first as a Chief Stew until 2013 on board of M/Y SECRET LIFE, a 45-meters yacht. Knowing a lot of different cuisines can be flexible upon guest tastes adapting her expertise of cooking techniques (stir-fry, deep-fry, wrapping, BBQ). Rattikal can also prepare different meals on very short notice for the pleasure of the guests, a non negligeable skill that will enhance the charter experience.
When not working, Rattikal loves to travel, dance, do water-sports and listen to music in addition to perfecting her cooking knowledge.


Stewardess: Sara KULABRAK
Thai, 40 years old
Sara recently joined the yachting industry. Previously, she worked for a private family, and 4-star hotels on the French Riviera for more than 10 years where she got a very strong experience in the luxury hospitality industry.
Sara is welcoming, positive, team player, hardworking and always maintains a tidy environment. For her, the duty is fully done when the guests are enjoying their time on board and feeling good during their stay. Sara likes to give little attentions to the guests and if asked, can give Thai massages to perfect their relaxing time on the yacht.
When she is not on board, Sara likes to cook, travels, and spend time with her friends.

Deckhand: Martin GUERY
French, 29 years old
Martin entered into the yachting industry in 2020 as deckhand and versatile shipyard worker in Rouxel Marine. In 2024 he joined M/Y ESMARALDA OF THE SEAS. Fond of yachts, his motivation pushed him to work in the industry and more specifically with guests. Martin’s ultimate goal would be to become captain.
He is a hard worker, motivated, meticulous, conscientious, and professional repairs. Martin wants to ensure that everyone falls in love with the beauty of the boat and enjoys using the water toys.
When he is not on board, Martin practices kitebuggy and nautical sports such as kitesurf, wakeboard...
